Just about every other place hosts winetasting. Spent the day going through the shops and listening to people talk, trying to decipher the dialect. Being a guy I just had to go through the Solvang 'Ace' hardware store. Could've picked up some propane and a dutch oven if I had wanted to. One thing that was sure tempting to buy was one of those cuckoo clocks that reminded me of my Grandpa and Grandma. Probably scare the heck out of the cat and confuse the bird though. Perhaps on the next venture to Solvang.
